The Central Oregon School of Ballet is celebrating its Thirty Sixth Annual production of The Nutcracker this holiday season. The performance will be presented on December 2nd, 3rd and 4th at Bend Senior High School which features six talented summit dancers who’ve been learning choreography since September. This classic ballet is set to Tchaikovsky’s beautiful score and performed by over 150 talented students of Central Oregon School of Ballet, as well as featuring professional guest artists and students of the Summit community. 

Summit senior Ava Bien has been dancing in The Nutcracker production since she was just five years old. This year she will be featured as the Sugar Plum Doll, Snowflake, and Waltz of the Flower Soloist. 

“I’m excited to dance one last time on stage and showcase my ballet solo to my family and boyfriend” Bien said.
