This year’s Thunder Pageant, an annual Summit fundraiser to help the school’s sparrow, will take place March 19 at 7:00pm in the school auditorium. Tickets are available through QR codes on posters around the school, and are available to anyone at the cost of $10 per person. All proceeds will go towards the school’s sparrow, Juliet, to help her battle against leukemia.
The pageant, expected to last roughly two and a half to three hours, will feature a variety of performances. This includes a talent show, group dance, quiz game and the long-standing tradition of Mr. Holler singing “Lean On Me.”
Alicia Watson, Summit senior, student body president and pageant participant, encourages students to attend.
“It’s going to be hilarious,” said Watson. “We have all put countless hours into making this entertaining, and at the end of the day, your ticket sale is also supporting Juliet.”
Even just a few dollars will go a long way for Juliet, so students are highly urged to attend. Buy a ticket before it’s too late, since all much needed proceeds will go towards helping her.
