When our genius Crest Editor, Finn Gober, blessed me with the opportunity to do an album of the month, I nearly jumped out of my chair. But then the pressure hit. Choosing an album that would be good enough for the man whose music taste has no limits of excellence? How could I? After much contemplation, I bring to you “No Vacancy” by Treaty Oak Revival. With a modern day feel of 1970’s Bob Dylan scripture, Sam Canty’s acoustic, estimable vocals are angelic at worst and life-changing at best. Cuts like “Missed Call” offer genuinity through masterful storytelling, exploring themes of heartbreak and growth. The record offers an alternative to the great country albums of the past with modern hints of bluegrass and pure excellence.

Langston Bollert, Staff Writer
When Langston is not on the golf course or playing baseball, he is probably talking or arguing about sports with his family and friends. If you have a ticket to any sporting event and don’t know what to do with it, Langston will gladly take it. He also enjoys traveling by himself and taking pictures. One thing Langston will never do is pick up a book that isn’t for school. He hates reading everything except for ESPN articles.
