Summit Storm’s Football team is dominating the 2022 season, not only on the field with an overall record of 9-1 but also in the classroom, where they are first in the state for overall GPA, boasting a 3.69. They’ve held this first place position for eight consecutive years. The team won the City and League Championships, after crushing Caldera, 35 to 0. Now, Summit moves onto the playoffs. On Friday November 4, Summit went head to head with Hood River Valley High School and won 42 to 6. Friday November 11 is the second round of the playoffs against Central. Senior Linebacker Austin Nelson believes Summit has a good chance of continuing in the playoffs, as the team consists of twenty seniors who will, “leave everything out on the field.”
