Summit Boys Soccer Team Capitalized a Dominant Regular Season With a 6-0 Win over Caldera and a Conference Title
On October 25, the Summit boys soccer team capitalized a dominant regular season with a 6-0 win over Caldera and a conference title. This marks the second year in a row where the boys soccer team earns the number one seed heading into the postseason.
The boys started their playoff run on November 1st with a tough match against a motivated Corvallis team who were seeking revenge for their 3-0 defeat earlier in the season against the storm. The game, played in freezing temps, proved to be a grueling dogfight. The two teams were only separated by a penalty shot where Senior Aiden Maclennan buried his shot into the bottom left putting the storm up 1-0. The boys will play 9th ranked Wilsonville in the quarterfinals this Saturday at home.
