On Oct. 25 2022, OSAA posted their 2022-2023 Academic All-State Top 10 Football Teams list; this year’s Summit Storm football GPA average was 3.69, the highest in the state. This list ranks the top 10 GPA averages on each football team in their respective divisions. 

For four out of the last five football seasons, Summit has ranked #1 in their division, and this year is this second year in a row where they have the highest GPA out of any football team in the state. This success can be attributed to the extremely high work ethic that has been pushed in and out of the classroom, seen in the Summit football slogan: “One way—The Right Way, Community, Classroom and Field”.
